Heather studied ceramics at Stoke on Trent and is also a qualified Teacher. She now works from her workshop here in Fowey, creating stone-ware Gallery pieces, painted gift-ware, running Pottery Classes and offering Pottery Painting. She now also makes raku ceramics, with its brilliant lustrous metallic colours and crackle glazes.
Natalie graduated from a Studio Ceramics BA (hons) course at Falmouth College of Art (UK) in 2004 and has been potting in a studio in Penryn, Cornwall ever since. Raw white stoneware clay is thrown to make pots, left to dry, finished, bisque fired to 1000'C over 24 hours, glazed with handmade food safe glaze and re-fired to 1250'C over another 24 hours.
